Ukrainians cannot live without beer and vodka. A holiday becomes one only with vodka on the table. Also there is a type of homemade Ukrainian vodka called samohon but it is a very dangerous thing to try due to extremely high alcohol level and the probability to hurt you stomach. In order to make sure to buy exactly the same the alcohol drink you drink back in your country purchase it only in supermarkets.Still, you cannot leave Ukraine without trying its beer, which is not expensive and very tasty. A piece of advice to remember – be ready to say a toast as Ukrainians love them and if you learn a sentence or even a word in Ukrainian you will conquer their heart. Cheers! Bud’-mo!
