The most convenient way to get to Kiev is to do it by airplane and arrive in Boryspil State International Airport (34km from Kiev) for international flights or to Zhulyani Airport (8 km from the center of Kiev), which deals with domestic flights only. The Boryspil airport staff speaks English and will help you if you have any questions. Boryspil is a good place to arrive, for the airport is not to big and there is no chance for you to get lost. The most important thing for you further stay in Ukraine is the registration card you get after you arrive. You may always change some currency to pay the taxi, but the drivers will have no problems accepting dollars or euros. If you need to make a call – go to the main hall. A taxi from Boryspil to the center is around 100 hryvnias and takes 40 minutes, a minibus ride costs 30 hryvnias and it takes it an hour to get to the southern train station.
