Microbuses and minivans are the most popular men of transportation in Kiev and in Ukraine. They are called “marshrutkas” or a “route taxi” which means it can make a stop any place along its route. Be sure to read or ask the direction of the marshrutka, because the majority has the A and B variants and the same main number. A ride costs from one to 1,75 hryvnias. As this is a private mean of transportation - give the money to the driver.
